About This Project

This video blog is a place to share and read about individuals who chose to begin their professional career in the ADR field. Typically, ADR is seen as a 2nd (or 3rd) career. But as more and more law schools, graduate schools, undergraduate schools, and even high schools, are teaching students about mediation and dispute resolution in general, individuals are graduating and looking to begin their career in ADR from the start. They don't want to wait and do something else before they have an opportunity to do what they love.

This blog is a chance to hear their stories. To explore if ADR as a first career is possible and if so, how. What paths did these individuals take? What struggles did they have? What successes and why? And what does this say for the next generation looking to explore careers in ADR?
